DR Strings Neon HiDef Superstrings Electric Guitar Strings

Home :: Fender Electric Guitars :: Electric Guitar Strings :: DR Strings Neon HiDef Superstrings Electric Guitar Strings

DR Strings Neon HiDef Superstrings Electric Guitar Strings Neon is the second in DR's SuperStrings series. Super bright in day light, and with stage lighting. DR's Neon strings are so bright in appearance 'they look like they are on fire.' DR's Neon strings shine brightly under stage lights, and are 100 percentblack light active so they glow strongly under UV lighting. And DR's Neon sound as good as they look. As Joey Clemment from Salena Gomez said, 'Yeah they look great, but they sound incredible!' DR Strings Neon Electric Guitar Strings are nickel plated wound on hexagonal cores for a clean and bright tone. Neon is the first coated string to make NO apologies. While Neon lasts as long as a coated string should (three to four times as long as uncoated strings) they sound as good, or better than uncoated strings...no excuses. K3 Coating Care The K3 coating on EXTRA-life strings is designed for use with standard picks and fingers. The K3 coating can be damaged by scraping against metal. It is important that care be taken when stringing guitars and basses where the strings are passed through a metal block or bridge. Scraping can damage the coating. Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar Olympic Pearl Rosewood

Home :: Fender Electric Guitars :: Fender Stratocasters :: Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar Olympic Pearl Rosewood

Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar Olympic Pearl Rosewood The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS is for guitarists who demand more from their electric guitar. The compound-radius fretboard encourages exhilaratingly effortless string bending anywhere along the neck. 2 new Fender N3 noiseless pickups supercharge your sound with improved Stratocaster tones while the DH-1 humbucking bridge pickup is right there when you need to take everything up to 11all with no hum.

Reconfigured S-1 switching offers even more knockout tonal options. The all-new "passing lane" switch instantly routes your signal from any pickup position to the bridge position with the tone circuit bypassed, blasting overtones and volume straight into the Strat-osphere. Other American Deluxe features include staggered locking tuners, an LSR roller nut, 2-point synchronized American Deluxe tremolo bridge with pop-in arm, and a beveled neck heel. Fender includes a molded Fender-exclusive SKB case with glass-reinforced latches and TSA locks, cable, and strap locks with the American Deluxe Stratocaster HSS.

Fender N3 Noiseless pickups

N3 Noiseless pickups deliver the best of yesterday and today, because they deliver landmark vintage Fender tone and response without the hum that can plague single-coil pickups. Using an improved stacked coil-coil design, N3 Noiseless pickups are specially tailored for each Stratocaster pickup position. The insulated metal core of each pickup position type differs in thickness and composition for enhanced tone, and Fender has fine-tuned the sized, shape, and wire gauge of the coils to balance the magnetic responsiveness essential to great tone. N3 pickups represent a welcome return to the warmth and clarity of alnico magnets. An Alnico 5 magnet is used in the bridge position, Alnico 2 in the middle position, and Alnico 3 for the neck position.

Cleartone Electric Guitar Strings are made of nickel-plated steel over a hex core. A unique treatment called EMP coats the entire string with an ultrathin protective film. It's the thinnest coating ever applied to guitar strings (less than one micron!) and will withstand more abuse from hard strumming than coatings 1000 times thicker! Martin FX 92/8 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings

Home :: Fender Acoustic Guitar :: Acoustic Guitar Strings :: Martin FX 92/8 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings

Martin FX 92/8 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings Martin FX 92/8 Phosphor Bronze acoustic guitar strings utilize an advanced thin wire core wire to increase flexibility and improve sustain without sacrificing tone, durability or playability. Martin Guitar Strings FAQ Q: Is it safe to use medium-gauge strings on my scallop braced guitar? A: Yes it is safe. All of our six-string guitars designed for steel strings have been tested to withstand the tension of a medium gauge string. However, since each top is unique, take note if the top starts to raise abnormally. If this happens, go back to the lighter-gauge strings. Q: What is the difference between phosphor bronze and regular bronze strings? A: Simply put, the difference lies in the tone of the strings. Phosphor bronze has a copper/tin alloy, making them sound brighter. Q: Why do steel strings tarnish? A: Longevity of a string can sometimes depend on the player's body chemistry; and if a player has a high acid content in his/her perspiration, it could cause the strings to tarnish more quickly. Environmental factors such as humidity, can also cause tarnishing. Q: Why are your strings packaged in three envelopes instead of six? A: It"s an ecological decision that literally saves tons of excess paper every year. We package pairs of strings in alternate order to avoid confusion for beginner players who may not be familiar with different string gauges. Q: What type of strings came on my Martin? A: From time to time we change the type of strings used on new Martin guitars. Generally, all non-cutaway dreadnoughts and jumbos get medium gauge. All X-Series, cutaways and smaller models such as the 000 and 00 get light gauge strings. All 12 string guitars get extra light gauge. Of course we have a few exceptions with nylon string guitars and bass guitars. For the most current information of what type of strings came on your Martin, please refer to the model spec page for recommended strings. Q: Why did the Martin Guitar Company choose the packaging they are currently using? A: Our 100% recyclable packages and envelopes are safe for the environment and reduce the chances of the strings becoming tarnished. Q: I keep breaking strings. How can I prevent this from happening? A: Your string breakage problem may not be the result of the strings you are using. Strings often break due to an excessively sharp break angle or rough area at the saddle, or a rough area at the nut. Analyze the frequency you break strings and the location of the break. If you think it is the guitar, take your instrument to an authorized Martin Warranty Repair Center. If you are a heavy strummer, a medium-gauge string may be preferable. AmericanMusical.
